At CS Angel, we back founders who deeply understand the day-to-day reality of Customer Success. That's why we're thrilled to announce our investment in Vento, an operational agentic team purpose-built to manage and automate complex Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

The Problem Vento Is Solving

As an expert in helping B2B SaaS companies design and implement agent-powered GTM workflows that drive revenue growth, customer retention, and operational efficiency, I am delighted to back Vento who are solving a huge gap I see across the enterprise landscape. O2C has evolved into a mission-critical system that controls 100% of revenue and cash flow, but most companies still manage it as a complete black box. Revenue logic isn't managed because it is buried deep within company systems. Commercial rules are scattered across fragmented CRM objects, flows, custom code, PDFs, spreadsheets, and undocumented institutional knowledge.

When Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams need answers to urgent questions such as "How do I price this deal?", "Why did this invoice fail?", or "What is this customer’s true ARR?", business operations and technical administrators struggle to provide fast, accurate answers. Teams are blind to the root cause of system failures, making them unable to trace which rule changed, where it was applied, or why it broke.

This silent risk creates a cascade of failures, leading to stalled deals, severe revenue leakage, billing mismatches, and churn risk. It also requires an incredibly expensive human backend layer just to maintain day-to-day operations.

Vento fixes this by providing an AI workforce that extracts this hidden logic, validates repairs, and proactively monitors rules 24/7 to turn complex O2C operations into automated, governed, and traceable revenue logic.

Why Now

We are in the midst of a once-in-a-decade mandatory architectural reset. Salesforce CPQ is end-of-sale, and 4k+ enterprises are now being forced to rip out their existing revenue engines.

This is not a simple data migration, as it requires rebuilding complex revenue logic on entirely new infrastructure. This shift creates a rare, massive window of opportunity where budgets are already allocated. Enterprises cannot simply migrate their old black box; they must use this forced migration to fix the underlying structure. Vento leverages this moment, working alongside trusted Solution Integration (SI) partners, to safely extract the full revenue logic and become the permanent O2C operating layer.

Why We Invested

At CS Angel, we look for companies that don't just build great technology, but also possess an unfair advantage in how they go to market.

Here is what makes Vento’s strategy poised to win:

  • An Elegant Distribution Wedge: Instead of trying to sell directly to enterprises in a crowded market, Vento is partnering directly with the systems integrators who already own the client relationship. For partners like AllCloud, Vento is a massive unlock. It allows them to de-risk high-stakes migrations, scale their own margins, and deliver results faster, all while building a sticky, recurring revenue stream.

  • The Revenue Context Graph: While other tools simply move data, Vento is building the actual brain of the transaction. Their Revenue Context Graph doesn't just record what happened, it captures the why behind every pricing decision, approval, and exception. This unstructured knowledge usually walks out the door when employees leave, but Vento centralizes it into a proprietary, irreplaceable context layer.

  • A Glass Box Approach to AI: Enterprises are rightfully cautious about letting autonomous agents touch their revenue. Vento solves this with an architecture that gives operators complete traceability, safety simulation, and human-in-the-loop control, proving that AI can be both highly autonomous and incredibly safe.

The Team

Vento is led by serial entrepreneurs Ofir Cohen, the CEO, and Daniel Aviram, the CTO, who bring over 15 years of experience in AI and enterprise technology. The two have successfully worked together in the past and both bring prior exit experience to the table. Ofir previously sold the technology and data from AltNext, and Daniel was part of Annapurna Labs’ acquisition by Amazon AWS.

Operating as an AI-first company from day one, Ofir, Daniel, and the Vento team possess the deep technical expertise and enterprise context required to build specialized agents. These agents can safely and reliably navigate complex revenue environments where generic AI tools fall short.

A Word From Our Syndicate

Gemma Cipriani-Espineira, Head of Digital Atlassian, founder at CS Angel noted

“Vento stood out to me because it is fixing a painful but important problem most people never see, which is the devastatingly messy work that happens when a company makes a sale and needs to turn that deal into cash. Ofir and Daniel have built and scaled hard things before, and they bring the right mix of AI expertise, enterprise experience, and entrepreneurial drive needed to win. That is why I’m backing Vento”.

Andrew Fraser, Head of Customer Operations and Solution Delivery, CR8.io invested in Vento following their pitch during our most recent Demo Day.

“CS Angel raises the bar on the quality of potential investments every Demo Day. I learn from every interaction with the group because of the incredible diversity of operating backgrounds within the CS community. I'm excited to support Vento at this early stage, as they are poised with the right product at the right time. Their capabilities to simplify complexity, provide traceability and to support simulations, version control and rollbacks make Vento Enterprise-Ready.”

Looking Ahead

Vento is already proving its massive value, showcasing a reduction in human and manual work during migrations of approximately 70% and modeling over 200% ROI by lowering backend labor for ongoing day-to-day enterprise operations. Working alongside massive ecosystem partners like AllCloud, Vento is well-positioned to turn these complex, one-off migrations into long-term, recurring revenue streams.

With this new funding, Vento will accelerate product and engineering development, expand customer deployments, and scale its partner enablement to build the definitive AI workforce for revenue logic.

Welcome to the CS Angel portfolio, Vento!
