Genway AI Raises $6M Seed Round to Redefine Customer Understanding with Autonomous Research Agent

We're thrilled to announce that Genway AI has raised a $6 million Seed round co-led by JBV Capital and Andreessen Horowitz’s Speedrun, with participation from several respected angel investors.


Genway is creating a new era of customer research. One that’s fast, scalable, and built for how modern companies actually work. Their AI agents conduct autonomous, qualitative user research at scale, enabling software and consumer packaged goods companies to better understand their customers, without the slow, expensive processes of traditional observability tools or manual interviews.


Genway’s agents conduct natural, human-like interviews, surfacing insights that help product, marketing, and research teams understand what customers think, feel, and need - at Scale and Speed. More impressively, companies using Genway have reported that their customers are more open and honest when speaking with an AI agent. The absence of perceived judgment makes users feel more comfortable, and that candor leads to deeper insights.


Founded in 2023 by a trio of seasoned operators, Natan Voitenkov, Gal Dayan, and Omri Ben Shoham, the Genway team brings together deep experience in enterprise sales, machine learning infrastructure, and large-scale data analytics. Natan spent years in enterprise sales at Google before joining JUSTT, where he met Gal. 


Gal served was a founding engineer at JUSTT and helped scale the company to over 250 employees. Omri, a childhood friend of Gal’s, was a founding engineer at Bonobo AI (acquired by Salesforce), bringing deep technical expertise in the field of ML infrastructure to the team.

The long-term vision for Genway extends far beyond user interviews.
